Our Christmas Luncheon is now behind us but not forgotten. Click here to view a few pictures of our community enjoying the entertainment. Great service, good food, and the company of our neighbors made this a memorable event.

Mark your calendars for our Annual Meeting which will be held on Tuesday, June 16, starting at 4:00. Like last year, we have reserved the multi-purpose room at the Rivers. This is your opportunity to provide your valuable comments directly to the board, elect board members for the three open seats, and meet your neighbors. Dinner will be served after the meeting

Summer Social - We have scheduled our summer social for Wednesday, August 12. Specific details have yet to be worked, but we plan to have entertainment, refreshments, and loads of fun with our friends and neighbors.

Events at the Rivers of Grosse Pointe (Big House).

The Rivers of Grosse Pointe (referred to as The Rivers) publishes a monthly calendar that lists opportunities for their condo neighbors (us) to participate along with the residents of The Rivers. Look for the word “Condo” that indicates it applies to us. The calendar lists many opportunities including various fitness classes, Aqua Zumba, bingo, cards, movies, etc. Click here to view/download this calendar and take a look to see if there are any activities that interest you. Note that some items require that you call ahead (313-885-5005) and reserve a spot prior to attending. There is also a cost associated with a few items (as specifically noted on the calendar. The calendar is updated monthly and will be available on this site around the first of the month.

Meals are also available at The Rivers for the condo residents to purchase at a reasonable price. Lunch is available in the café. This is primarily set up for lunch as a take out but a limited number of tables are available. In good weather, there are a few tables set up on the patio outside the café as well. In addition to their regular lunch menu of sandwiches and salads, they feature a special offering each day. The specials menu changes weekly and can be viewed when available by clicking here.

Dinners are available for dining in. The menu changes periodically, every three or four weeks. The current offering is good through May 8th and can be viewed by clicking here.‍ ‍Note that The Rivers requires that you call ahead at 313-885-5005 for a reservation to assure a table is available. Reservations are available from 4:30 - 5:45.

Craft Show — The Spring Craft Show will be held on Friday, April 24th from 11 AM - 3 PM. The event will feature over 30 vendors of every kind. Click here to view or download the circular.

Hear Michigan — Monday, April 6 at 2 PM, Hear Michigan will be on site to provide free hearing screenings, free otoscopic exams and free consults for hearing devices.

Tech Talk — Having trouble with your cell phone, tablet, or laptop bring it over to the Rivers any Wednesday at 12:30 where Savannah will provide assistance to get you back on track.

Food Truck — Friday, April 17th, from 11:00 to 1:00. Mama Tia’s food truck will be parked across from the gazebo. They’ll have a full menu of homestyle/soul food dishes available for purchase.
